We have been working on the writing process. Students brainstormed an idea, then used the STEPS process for their prewrite. S- Setting, T- Two or thee characters, E- Events (beginning, middle, end), P - Plot, S- Solution. Students learned about incorporating narratives.
Students peer edited their rough drafts and revised. Then, they published them. Students created illustrations and read their stories over the photos so we could share them with classes we collaborate with around the world.
